You will not be laughing when your THETFORD toilet dissolves into THETFORD pile of plastic on your shower floor .
Hi thanks for this and all threads. Is it zaflora Or zoflora Went to buy some to try. Could not find it. Also using bio. Is this the standard bio wash powder. Or liquid. Thanks again. All very interestingAs above, using a dilution of Zaflora as air freshener. Spray bottle. I’m not alone doing this.
Just been reading the latest MMM. There is a letter asking about using soap in the toilet, so MMM asked Thetford and Dometic and guess what they said !

Has anyone had issues with seals going ? I always let the liquid soap dribble over the valve to lubricate it. I suspect replacing the seals every few years is cheaper than paying for their chemicals.
As for the smell I agree with the letter writer that the soap smells better, and the contents of the toilet smell better than the chemicals.

He's just going through the motionsDo not think I will bother referbiishing a cassette when you can get a new one for about £100 ( after 4 years is about 7p a day )

It is only 7p a day if you use it 365 days a year. I bought a spare one for about £25 a few years ago. It wasn't new, but it was spotlessly clean.Do not think I will bother referbiishing a cassette when you can get a new one for about £100 ( after 4 years is about 7p a day )
What a bizarre approach he had!
Nothing to stop people using a SOG and adding bio washing powder or liquid. That's what I do.I have been using Morrisons basic range bio powder for years. Works a treat and the cassettes are great. I do try to leave a full one for at least a day to liquify the contents. Last time I met anyone emptying a SOG I had to evacuate for a time until the stench wafted away. Don't know what they had been eating. Skunk backsides, maybe.
