Sierra Nevada Spain

Just wondering if anyone has stayed overnight in the caravan and mobile home carpark up the mountain of Sierra Nevada Spain, it says you can park for €10, there is no water or electric so would have to be self sufficient, fancy doing a couple of days skiing in February. I can't find anything that say you can stay overnight unfortunately, can anyone share any experiences from here. 20 years ago I used to come here skiing but always stayed in a hotel.

Yes, stayed a few times. Its very high, so we needed chains. I'm sure there was hookup though, and water, though the water you'd need a bucket to get (when we were there it was just constantly running (to stop freezing). No toilet or gray waste we found, and if you can imagine it was a little dirty so didn't use it.
Good boarding though! Not the most exciting of resorts

See http://www.motorhomeski.com/places-to-stay/spain/sierra-Nevada - it confirms there was elec, and also says water/waste

Thanks for that we never needed chains whenever we went in the car, but a motorhome could be a bit different, I always classed it as motorway skiing at Sierra Nevada. I always preferred resorts were you go going skiing off piste or in the trees, so know where you are coming from. But it's some years since I used to ski and given we would be in Spain thought we would give it a try.

We stumbled across an aire type set up in a town just off the main road from Granada to Almeria a couple of years ago. Can’t remember exactly where sorry.
Up in the hills there was a huge horse riding area that looked ideal as a parking spot and I don’t recall much signage prohibiting same and would be surprised
