Hi,

I've got to run a 10mm copper pipe under the truck, would it normally have any protection? I'm thinking brake/fuel pipes wouldn't normally... I don't think it's at risk mechanically, as it's going to be quite high up on the chassis. A bit of garden hose around the outside maybe?

What's your thoughts? Thanks

Or Pipe type insulating "piping" with a slit along it and cable ties (inevitably !)
But not the Vince variety

Vehicles running on LPG have pipework under the vehicle. They use PVC coated copper pipe. You can get it here

I understand that if you are running the gas pipe on a vehicle with a separate chassis and the pipe is to be connected to a gas tank then the tank must be underslung to the body and not attached to the chassis as flexible pipes are against regulations. Also include a T in the pipe work so that the gas fitter who should approve your work can pressure test the system.
