I get asked this question a lot by newbies and my answer is normally that it depends on the facilities in the vehicle and the type of camping you are doing.

How do you keep yourself clean (personal hygiene) whilst using your motorhome?

We tend to use the facilities in the motor home i.e. the hand basin and the shower.

Our MoHo is 6.5 m so not a "Biggie"
But we have a good self-contained shower cubicle in the bathroom
Truma heating/hotwater works well.
Top up with water most days but can go 3 days.
So shower everyday 2x if hot.
We use 1 lire of LPG (refillable) a day on heating and cooking
So for us easy peasy.
Cheapish campsites sometimes but my wife still prefers our facilities !

Clean? What's that?......?

The little kangoo we have doesn't have a shower so use campsite facilities when available or wet wipes or boil the kettle and use the sink

Bathroom in the van, don't like public showers unless I know they have just been cleaned.
If you don't have on-board facilities it would be easy to boil a kettle, add some cold water and drop in a pump with shower then find a quiet spot. Bet that's great on a nice day.

Internal shower/loo in van, so mostly a basin wash and probably a weekly campsite for a proper shower and wash of the locks.

Use the onboard facilities but Summit Scrubbies are a good standby if getting low on water.

We use the van shower. Wet, wash, rinse with minimal water.
As for the other question we get asked....Wees only and TCP - Tactiical Campervan Poops - when there’s an opportunity rather than a need ?
