The is no space where I live to park my motorhome so I keep it at a secure (CaOSSA Gold) storage facility.

Where do you keep your motorhome?

If you do have a storage space, how much do you pay?

we keep ours in our garage we had to have the roof put up 2 feet higher so it would fit. it has a nice remote controlled roller door on it. ( the garage not the camper)

Keep my bus on Daddy's farm. Free facility & the bonus is my workshop's there too. Not a big facility but has electric & it's free (for now)

Ours is kept on our back garden. We had a caravan when we were looking for a house to buy, and one of the stipulations was that we could park/store the caravan on the garden. We did not think at the time that we would ever be able to afford a motorhome.

Secure storage CASSOA GOLD over the winter (7 months)
Where ever we stop (and sleep) the other 5 months

On driveway at front of property.

(Mind you, when we pick up bigger van next week it will only just fit!)

We kept the caravan we had before the moho at a CaSSOA Gold site. The motorhome is about 1.5 metres longer than the old 'van and wouldn't fit our storage pitch. The CaSSOA site owners couldn't find us a suitable pitch in time and so we moved to a (much closer) non-CaSSOA site with locked gates, CCTV and operators who live onsite. We were paying just over £400 p.a. (£100 per quarter) and are now paying £365 per year (1 payment each year) in storage fees. However, the new site closes at 5:00 pm. each night except Sundays, when it closes at 4:00 pm; so we sometimes now have to spend an extra night out at a pub stop if we can't get back to storage in time.

Because we originally planned to stay with with the CaSSOA site, we got insurance quotes for keeping the moho at both facilities. Strangely, the CaSSOA Gold status didn't make much difference to our insurance premium (aboiut a tenner a year).

Birdie's on the driveway because I couldn't bear to be away from her! It's a pretty useless driveway - narrow and a tiny bit too sloping - but the motorhome just about fits, so I'm happy (y)

The very first morning after I brought our motorhome home and parked it on the drive, I had a neighbour at the door asking me where I was going to store it. At this stage we hadn't even had a night away yet! He proceeded to inform me that according to our property deeds we aren't allowed to keep caravans on the drive; I told him it isn't a caravan. He then said we aren't allowed to keep a van on the drive; I told him it isn't a van.

I was tempted to store it on the drive permanently, but as it was always our intention to store it on a nearby farm, my wife persuaded me not to be so childish, and we have stored it there ever since for £250 per year.

No drive at home (when there) so I have storage on a farm that does motorhome and caravan storage as well as having a caravan site and statics. Owners live there along with some staff. I have 24/7/365 access so long as I either text or call to let them know, that’s to stop them calling police or blocking road with a tractor :)

Nice and cosy on our tarred driveway under a rather large (huge!) car port which is only open at one end. Keep it plugged in to the mains. Just forked out for another tarred drive in the garden at the other side of our house as we went from a car in the old days to a van, motorhome and five cars. Youngsters!!

Goes under a car port on my driveway in front of my garage which is also by the side wall of my neighbours house. Protected from the elements on 3 sides and keeps it handy for loading and for a quick getaway.

Up drive behind 7 foot drive gates with multiple locks and covered with security lights. Our 2 cars are parked in front off the drive gates as extra security.
I’m downsizing house this year so worst case scenario I will have to store motorhome on secure storage which will be a pain.

Right up the drive at the side of / slightly behind our house behind 2 sets of gates and well away from the road.
