Water water everywhere. Hope all are safe in these downpours. Very wet here in the Midlands. Inevitable river watch going on. To put gate up or not put gate up. Oh the joys of it all.

We had a cl close to the Lincs coast ( and a small river) worry every time high tides and wind...now live a few miles inland on high( er) ground ..always thought of it floods .. probably be unsellable, difficult to insure could become a prison instead of a home and our most valuable asset...so we now have a 15 min drive to the coast instead of a walk but also have peace of mind.

Yep; over the radiators in 07 and no kitchen for a year but work done on river since then

I remember 2007, floods and gales. I was working in Derbyshire and my trips between there and home were certainly 'adventures'.
