...then this is the thread for you!

I love cricket, it is second only to rugby for me. I have been fortunate to watch some of a previous Ashes in Australia at the Melbourne Test in 2002. An amazing experience and I would dearly love to do the whole tour one day.

Anyway a not unfamiliar start to England's batting today with a paltry 172. We'll have to see how that racks up when the Aussies have batted.

I used to work the turnstiles at Headingley, then retire to the vacant members seats, for the last hour, with pork pie and a pint, out of my wages.
Bliss!

Trying to find a way round BBC's Overseas radio ban.
I believe its on Sports Extra 3.

It's the only thing that I miss, from Blighty.
Apart from people.

Any suggestions?

Bit baffled by reception of BBC in Europe.
Listen to radio 4 and radio Scotland a lot when travelling abroad , without any problem .
Only have a problem if live football comes on .
'for rights reasons blah blah'
Yet I didn't have that problem this trip !
No idea why
