Yesterday's stroll down to the RMC and then inland, where a pair of geese crossed my footpath, ushering their 12 tiny chattering goslings for what looked like their first paddle.

Today, and more inland amongst wooded valleys, it will be dry and very bright, with blue skies, a cooling easterly, and 18° high. ☀️☀️☀️

Yesterdays bimble through wooded valleys under a bright blue sky. I disturbed a heron fishing in a large inland pond, and quietly moved on.

Today will be a bright, sunny, and very warm day, with a gentle SE breeze and 20° high. Time for one more walk.

We've a beautiful start to the day, dry and bright, with a light southerly and 20° high. The soil has become baked, but with a bit of luck we'll have some softening showers tonight. 🌤🌤🌦

Last night's light showers ended before it was light, filling the morning air with the scent of heavy blossom. We've had guests visiting, with family still to arrive.

East Sussex will continue through the day with some sunshine, light cloud, a gentle SW breeze, and 17° high. 🌤🌤🌤
