Yesterday's stroll down to the RMC and then inland, where a pair of geese crossed my footpath, ushering their 12 tiny chattering goslings for what looked like their first paddle.

Today, and more inland amongst wooded valleys, it will be dry and very bright, with blue skies, a cooling easterly, and 18° high.
