1st March = New Vans

Is there any one else picking up a van on the 1st March a new van or new to them I have Started to count the days now I live 490 miles from dealer so all done through E-Mail. I have not even seen new van only pictures, I am Down sizing from a Bailey 6 birth coach build to a 2 birth Auto Trail van conversion, Only had the Bailey just over two years And yes I did see it before I bought it and read all the speck on it, stated overall width 7'11'' I took that was mirrors extended but thats the body width. And as 90% of my traveling is in the highlands narrow roads so it had to go before it got damaged. So when I saw the Auto Trail it ticked most of the boxes U shaped rear lounge with 6' beds + front dining + more storage + more worktop + Automatic gearbox The only downside is toilet & shower is combined

I got two new vans last year one in March 17 plate then another identical one in October 67 plate so thought I’d leave it this time round

Good luck with the new van, it's the pvc that I've liked the look of most at shows reccently. Before finding my van I very nearly bought a Bailey, but think that I would have found the same width problem.

We looked at the autotrail but after inspection we went with the Globecar as it was on the maxi chassis and had a larger payload and a spare wheel.

Hi I is the Maxi on longer chassis?? my van is 6.36m long . Mas of 3.500kg with a pay load of just short of 500kg it also has a spare wheel.

Edwards are a car dealership on the southern side of Kempsey on the A38 south of Worcester. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/...8!4d-2.2186831

Streetview shows the place as a Mazda dealership but Google maps says it's a Kia dealership. Either way there is a riverside caravan site within a mile of the place so it might be a good idea to try a night or two there to make sure everything is as it should be. 490 miles is a long way to go to sort anything out.

Kito,
I've sent you a message re pics,
Chris

Ah, you've sorted it :Thumbs_Up_Hand_Sign
Good looking van.

I think that the best way for putting pictures on here is using the little clip to the left of the A above the posting box. Then upload pictures and when thats done pick size, usually medium or large. Hth.

Doing almost the same, downsizing from a Bailey to a Wildax. Although not collecting in March I think thats when the van arrives for the conversion.
