70. C1. Medical

The trouble is, a medical pass on paper, is not worth the paper its written on.
For example.
Many years ago we had to have a full medical to qualify for a certain company insurance.
So, of we go to the nearest BUPA hospital as instructed.
We did everything asked of us including treadmill, breath analysis, weight, BP, pulse, ECG ,bloods etc, etc, etc,
The two of us that went that time passed - no problem.
So we went back to work, confident and clutching the bits of paper saying PASS.
Dave the colleague who went with me got out of his car - and dropped dead in the car park.
