A Good Nights Sleep

Anybody migrated from a down/feather/synthetic duvet to a Baavet, for those not familiar with a Baavet it is the equivalent of a duvet but made with sheepswool in a cambric cotton cover. Would be interested to know what you think and was it worth changing.

Hi All

Bump

I like the sound of that. I had never heard of one.

They do look good and get a great write up but are quite expensive though Fogarty do their own version at about half the price.

The reviews on the Fogarty website are a bit "marmite" , a lot of plaudits but also negatives on the "crinkly" noise and the smell of the wool..................

I'm sure sheep sh*ggers will find them irresistible. A Tog is a Tog for me or in my case 15. Stick with my duvet ta.

a yorkshireman is like a scotsman just with generosity squeezed out of him....................

Hmm - nice idea, but don't think I'll go for one - I find sheep's wool very itchy!

I bought a silk filled duvet a few years ago. Warm in winter, cool in summer. Very lightweight and not bulky.
Cost then, £100.

Is that silk cover down fill or totally silk?

My duvet is 15 tog and too hot. It's supposed to be breathable with no sweating but i do sweat under it.... WTH no nocturnal activities I might add!!!!

Damask-type outer and pure silk strands filling.
Bought it, in the first place, because my wife had just had both knees replaced and couldn't bear any weight on her legs.
