We had a good two nights at The Eyre Arms, Calver Village, Hope Valley, Derbyshire.
Parking is free, set back away from the road with only the cockerels and the occasional dog bark.
We had a meal in the pub on the Friday night, and on Saturday caught a bus into Buxton and back in time for our arranged pub Christmas dinner with John and Tracey, who also stayed the night in the car park.
Reasonably priced meals and good quality food, the two lads who run the pub are very friendly. I can definitely recommend both the parking and eating.
