About to fit ALDE Heat Exchange to a new Peugeot camper

When you come to cut into the coolant pipework use pipe clamps of something similar to prevent fluid loss and avoid having to drain down system

Let off the pressure from the cap clamp and top up afterwards.

I used 4 clamps one either side of each cut

I.e. two on each hose into bulkhead heater matrix

Allowing me to cut hose and fit T piece without fluid loss apart from a tiny amount between clamps Place old towel under hose to soak up fluid

I then filled up the hose at the engine bay down to the heat exchanger and checked it came up the other hose so checking that it was full before connecting both to the T’s

Then after removing all clamps topped up tank and ran engine to clear any air locks
