Air Fryer - Power Pulsing or not?

When we bought our microwave for home use, we asked the intelligent (not the ones that advertise on TV) dealer why some are significantly more expensive than others. He showed us a Panasonic that he said unlike the cheaper ones, when you run this on a lower than maximum power, it just microwaves constantly at the lower power, not switching from full power to off, then back on. It is a quite remarkable one, it has a 'roast chicken' setting. You put a chilled chicken from the supermarket in, set it on 'roast chicken' mode, and in 15 minutes you have a perfectly cooked chicken with crispy skin. Same with baked potatoes. And we can tell it's running on a lower power if we set it thus, by looking at a bowl of porridge with milk, on a low setting it just constantly simmers a bit whereas on full power it boils rapidly.

Now, having read this I must go to my camper where I have recently installed 200AH of lithium and a (I've forgotten) I think 2000w (why don't they call them 2kW?) PSW inverter and try a few things. I will try an induction hob, toaster and kettle. Actually I've already tried the kettle . . . . .
