Airbnb for Motorhomes?

Not recommending it as I don’t know anything about it just an idea if your van lays idle for anytime?

We meet a couple in Portugal winter 2017 who had rented a camper from airbnb.
Little old merc conversion .

I think it is a potentially good idea. I have considered doing this with my Camper using www.quirkycampers.co.uk

Something that needs to be checked carefully up front though .... Who is liable if the camper breaks down? Yes, you get breakdown cover no issues, but if the camper/MH cannot be sorted quickly, who is liable to pay for a replacement vehicle? And/or alternative accommodation? Giving a refund on rental wouldn't be sufficient.

This is one of the biggest 'gotchas' IMO.
