Has anyone had experience buying motorhome insurance at the border in Albania How much and how easy is it to confort in’s says this is only way to get cover.

Be aware, be very aware. I’ve not been for some time but people selling insurance are mostly rogues.

Again I’ve not been for some time, but in my experience covered by your own insurance or not you’ll still end up paying.

They generally won’t let you enter in a vehicle without “Local” insurance, even had it on a page ripped from a spiral notebook in the past. We used to use a “agent” to “sort” all the carp , just meant he paid the bungs while you drink coffee for 30mins.
