Any sudoku fans?

A non-PC reply from the Dudley Tech Rag Mag circa 1967, Kev:

"There was an old roué from Rome
Who took a leprechaun home
Whilst buggering the elf,
He thought to himself,
'I'd be much better off in a gnome' " :ROFLMAO:

Oh dear, meltdown.

This one was posted today .

It is actually a pretty simple one for a comination of Suduko, Themos (numbers must increase from the bulb to the tip) and Renban Lines (numbers on the line must be consecutive, but in any order. So for example, a 4-digit Renban line could be 4,6,5,7 (so 4-7 but in a random order))
Because of the way this one has been constructed, a lot of it becomes fairly obvious as you start doing it and is a good intro into some of the non-suduko puzzle bits

Wish I'd never started now :D :D it's getting a bit beyond my capabilities, I do them to calm down and they are winding me up.

The thing which I REALLY wish their app had is the ability to create a 'save point' so it is easier to go back to a point you were happy with before it all went pete tong. Too often I have got to a stage where a mistake has been exposed in my solve and I don't know at what point I went off-course and tend to just abandon it rather than restarting from the beginning.

I have a couple of Suduko books and recently bought some erasable coloured pens - think they will come in very handy :)

I have a couple of the bumper sudoku books, one in the loo & one in the van plus a few different apps.

Maybe you could try writing your own app.

Supposed to be quite difficult.

Doh, Liz brought me a cup of tea and I pressed post.

Tricky one. Not watched the video but having a go... Got almost all the 1s and 2s and eliminated a few 3s & 4s but there will be some kind of weird maths/sudoko trick to do this I think :)

YEAH! 1 hour and never watched the video. Pleased with that. (it actually gets a lot easier as you start to eliminates loads of possibilities as you work up the number sequence).
