App for stolen motorhome information SMD

Hi it seems that in spite of motorhome travel being impossible at the moment the thieves are still hard at it. You would think that a motorhome on the road right now would stick out like a thumb. Yet they are still going about 1 a day according to the app.
My wife watches the app "SMD" ever since ours got stolen - just to see where thieves are working - she concludes the scum are everywhere.
Not sure how useful you would find the app but thought it worth a post.

There are two reviews of the app on Google Play. Both are of the same date, one of them from an Adele Gibson which is the same name of a person who lives with a Kenneth Hacking at an address in Accrington.
That doesn't make it dodgy in itself, but worth pointing out that reviews aren't necessarily to be taken at face value.

I sometimes find that with Apps that find campsites or small camperstops. People who have an interest, such as the owner, should declare that.

Thanks for highlighting that. I shared the info in goodwill. People will need to decided when they install the App whether they want to give the permissions.

I wonder how many are actually insurance fraud, self theft of a problematic, faulty or damp old van?

Hi, I've just come across this topic while doing a bit of Googling
I run the stolen motorhome database, I can assure you it is all legit despite my surname being Hacking, didn't have any problems with this name back in 1961 but getting more and more stick about it nowadays
I'm always wary of apps, and wonder why they need so many permissions, but I see none of this, it's all set by the App maker
