It's that time again, huge buggers out looking for mates, we must have had a dozen or more huge things with fifty legs yuk, I have some spray but it's almost like it attracts them.

I have a catcher and release them outside a good way from the house, I blindfold them first so they can't see their way back.

I hate them, if they get too close they die. I know but it’s an irrational response, it’s what phobias are 😘

I'm okay so long as they don't move, or they get the order of the boot.

not here they aren't.

'Spider, spider,
On the wall;
Have you got no sense
At all?
Can't you see that
Wall's been plastered,
So c'mon down
You stupid arachnid'

Anybody help with the missing rhyme word? :rolleyes:

Liz is out in the garden, and we have a plant the same as the one above, and it had once of these crawling up it.

A hephalump hawk moth caterpillar.

So it's just getting light this morning, I need a pee so I toddle off to the loo, I didn't have my glasses on but saw something black on the bed, so suspecting the worst I flip it onto the floor, it doesn't move so didn't think anything of it, go back get dressed and leave the bedroom, Liz gets up about an hour later and I go in and it was a spider exoskellygog I didn't say anything to Liz, later she said have you seen that huge thing on the floor, I said you don't want to know where I flicked it from in the dark, she has never moved so fast.

Just found this chap in the conservatory dead google lens not helping, any ideas, looks a bit vicious.

This arrived yesterday, a bit of a game changer, it works really well and as a bonus, it hoovers up dead flies in the conservatory too, we seem to be inundated with them every time it gets warm winter and summer, it's rechargeable too, a bit expensive but much easier to use than what we normally use.

This is the old method but they keep breaking, I have had to superglue it back together so many times, it works well but you have to be quick and accurate.
