Autosleepers...don't they think about these things???

As a matter of interest, I have learned that Autosleepers also offer a version of the ES that isn't in their brochure. If you order it instead of the overcab bed they will provide a big cupboard with a 1m x 70cm door. Lots of storage and a chance to get some weight on the front wheels. And you can have the two bench seats/low level beds without the extra passenger seats which make up most of the extra weight and cost of the ES.

Anyone had any experience of Marquis Sheffield. I sent a long list of quite demanding questions to various Autosleeper dealers. They are so far the only ones to respond, have reasonable answers to most questions, and will find out those they couldn't answer (including axle loads unladen...a question which Swift have constantly evaded answering about their vans)...and they will put them all in writing. So far not a peep out of Derby Motorhomes.

Got our 2014 nuevo from SMC 3months ago had it 2 weeks and the wind up roof light collapsed a common fault ,phoned them took back the day after, they replaced it while I waited

Our first van was a 1996 Amethyst. Lovely van, full timed in it til 2006. By which time, the company had changed hands at least. twice .
We looked at The Eton, it was cheap, crappy, and over priced. & had no payload.

Nothing we have seen since, would make us change our opinion.

The vetting was brought in after a major spam invasion couple of months ago.
The web info as well as metric measurement gives a height of 9' 10". If you Google that to convert to metric you get 2.997 metres. I would ask a dealer to physically measure one or go yourself. Derby Motorhomes have every model on show and I believe SMC may also have all models.

Hi It seems the vetting is impregnable, still can’t register as no- one will come back to me.

I asked Admin over there about this and it now appears there is an email problem through the forum host. All registrations are manually approved and don't require the activation email to be actioned. You should simply be able to sign in now. Please try and let me know if you still can't get on the site.
