Hi

We are thinking about having a week in/near Benidorm next February. I've been threatening it for a while and Mrs G has relented.

I now that some folks on here visit regularly so will have their favourites but I am also interested in sites definitely NOT to go to.

Our motorhome is 8.5m long so I'd also like to know about the internal roads inside the campsites if you could please. In our experience it's not always the pitch that is too small but the inner roads, when you are in a larger unit.

Thanks all

We are staying at Camping La Media Legua, it's closer to Albir on the same road as Benidorm outdoor market, it's our 3rd year here and we have booked pitches in advance for the next 2 years.
A taxi costs €8 from the Benidorm strip at night, each way. I can easily cycle to Benidorm in 10 minutes. The site opened 3 years ago and is kept very clean, at the time of year you are thinking of coming they will be running daytime entertainment as the caravan and motorhome club use it as a winter rally site.
We stop for 60 nights here, the access roads are great and the pitches are nice and big, you have the usual on site facilities.
I love the surroundings here, we spend more time going to Albir and Altea than we do going into Benidorm.

That's a great reply - just the kind of info I'm after. Thank you 🙏

We have stayed at Camping Villasol in Feb in Benidorm for the past 7yrs for winter sun 🌞 🌞 & a great site ... However last year we did 38 nights at Villasol Camping Benidorm then onto La Media Legua last Feb / Mar for 45 nights on Pitch 258 & absolutely loved it ... Also u can book well in advance @ La Media as we arrive this year on 2nd March for 82 nights again on Pitch 258 ...
Plus it caters for larger - longer motorhomes ... U can tell by the amount of Morello.s on there.
There is a number 10 bus every 20 mins from the rear of the site into the centre of Beni or a number 10 bus the other way to Altea... I bought a travel card which I use for only 60 cents per journey...
Hope this helps
