anyone know if I will have problems getting on and off the ferry, with a towbar mounted bike rack on my 2019 Autotrail Apache 634

Can't see how it could be a problem , as long as you've told them the overall length.

Sorry, or are you more worried about it grounding out on the ramps

If it’s grounding issues that are the concern you might need to give a bit more info to get more responses eg which ports, how long is the overhang of the rack etc.

Dover Calais not sure about overhang I’ll check when I get the Motorhome later today

When you get there if it looks like it will ground out explain it to them and they will put you on the lower deck.
Although the lads loading you will usually have a quick look and direct you to a lower deck if the think it will ground out on the ramp to the upper deck.

If I have googled your van correctly, you will definitely ground the bike rack on the Scottish ferries but I reckon you will be fine on the big cross channel boats.
