Hi,
Has anyone charged their 100ah leisure battery via the AC hookup socket on the outside of the MH with a Bluetti or similar power station on AC mode and what sort of rating power station did you use?
Many Thanks

So you take a 12v battery, use it to power an inverter that powers a battery charger to charge a 12v battery.
I'm sure you have a reason for thinking of doing this, but I'm not clear what it might be.
Hi,
My reason is at the moment I only hire campers/motorhomes so can’t go tinkering with someone else’s set up hence the plan is a power station on AC feeding into the external AC HU socket. I’m hiring next month and off grid so need a back up.

I'm puzzled [easily done] . Can't you just use your power station ?

Lol.
I just wanted to know really if a power station is capable of charging a leisure battery of say 100ah and what rating of power station would be needed to do this. I’d prefer using power from the leisure than taking power from a power station in a moment when its chucking it down with rain outside and fiddling with cables and high voltage off grid

I have charged a flat starter battery with an EcoFlow delta. I have also connected my mains chargers to the Delta2 to get charge in them. Not an efficient way maybe but it works to the capacity of the battery storage. Saved me dragging the generator all the way from the garage at the back of the house to the front.

My use of a power bank in the van would be connecting my mains charger to top up has battery then when running I would plug mains charger into van inverter to recharge power bank.

I got the power bank for when I am in the tent but will utilise it in the van as above just as a bit more storage.
