Boiler not staying lit

Hi Guys hope you can help, we're currently in Bavaria and our boiler is playing up resulting in us having to take cold showers which I suppose isn't too bad in the current weather being in the 30, s.
We have a 2015 truma Bge 10 over the last few weeks the boiler has gradually taken more attempts to stay lit, What's happening is the boiler is firing up first time and staying lit for about 30 secs then I can hear a very rapid clicking noise from the cowl outside then the boiler trips out and the red light comes on, gas seems ok as cooker hob flames are normal etc, were here for another 4 weeks any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can only suggest you source an on-line manual for your model of boiler, look to the trouble making section, perhaps you can source a fix from there?

Good luck 🤞

The problem may lie in the boiler itself. It goes through a start up routine where certain things have to happen in sequence.

The fan has to run.
The gas valve has to open.

There are other stages but you have said you can hear the igniter, so you have 12 volt power. I would guess it is one of the two stages I have mentioned. You should be able to hear the fan. If so, it seems like the gas valve or gas supply may be the culprit.

I know you are in Bavaria but think about a call or email to Truma support. I found them really helpful when I had a problem on my last van. Turned out to be a PCB fault.
Perhaps there's a Truma support over there you could use?
Good luck

It's started running ok, I'm thinking if it's intermittent it could be the thermocouple as a few have suggested. Thanks for all your help guys.

Slim possibility I suppose but worth mentioning. Our last van had an opening window directly above the flue outlet cowl and there was a micro switch on the window so if it was open the boiler would not light. A safety feature to stop exhaust gases coming into the van.
