Busman's Holliday

I stayed there a 6 years ago at the Aire . It was about 1km from the town centre via a nice park/riverside walk. It was all ok as far as i can remember. There was a second aire closer to the town centre fairly adjacent to a Aldi store. The photo below on Camper Contact of the one I stayed at says do not park there in les jours de grand vent i.e when the wind is very strong, I think because of danger of tree branches falling but it was taken in 2012!

we went around the town a few years back it’s an old jacobite town i think the link is it was home in exile to the bonnie prince shops are covered in tartans & whiskies

It looks nice and worth a visit I’d like to go the week the festival is on looks like it’s the second week in July every year. Just gives you somewhere to aim for as part of a trip to France. The town has its own tartan full pipe band and it’s own malt whisky.
