Cab Curtains

I don’t always like putting up the front cab blinds (and making it obvious to all I’m sleeping in it) if parked up in some town car parks, I certainly don’t use the external thermal screen, so I purchased a set of cab blinds from Van-X £52.99 on special offer, to go behind the driver and passenger seats thus giving us privacy without making it too obvious we are sleeping in it and giving more of an impression my Fiat Ducato camper van is just parked up.
It took me about 30 min it’s to drill the holes, secure the runner, fit the blinds and tie backs,
It helps with heat insulation as well, when you pull the curtains in the morning you feel the cold air from the front of the cab.

We have a "Heath Robinson" solution.
An expanding curtain rail and a picnic rug/blanket.
Such blankets have a black water-resistant side. We have this facing in and it helps when it is still light outside.
Given the blanket on the up side it has some insulsting properties aas well.
If it is really cold we go for triple glazing
1 External sun-screen
2 Internal thermal blinds
3 Said picnic rug/blanket
What was that TV programme insulation, insulation, insulation ? ? ?

PS We often just use 1 and 3
