Not something I'm selling but there is a member on MHF who is practically giving away a load of Cadac stuff as he is moving back to the UK from France as he recently lost his wife. He'll dump it unless someone can come up with an agreement with him. He's a great bloke and this is a bone fide offer...

PS There's nothing in it for me except to help the chap out and also to see if one of you folks want to grab a bargain. I would but I have 2 cadacs already

Please forgive me, but thank you Graham for posting my ad on here and alerting me to this forum, this is my first visit here, but will not be the last (groans from off….). As Graham says this is a genuine desire to pass on an item that I will not use for just me (don’t need it for boiled eggs !). I woukd much rather it went to someone who will use and enjoy it, it is brilliant for open air cooking, sadly for the last five or six years my wife was stuck inside, declining steadily until the end of last September.

I live, currently, in France but am trying to return to Blighty asap, just the obstacle of selling my house and one Ha of “grass” to overcome. Funny how grass grows bright yellow flowers during a lot of the year, you know the ones you can supposedly tell the time by, by blowing the seeds and their parachutes around (and spreading more !)

If you are interested in any way, PLEASE, get in touch, it is not worth me bring it back to the UK if no-one is interested (HMRC may even impose import duties unless I complete a form ! - that’s a Brexit “advantage” I knew nothing about until last weekend…..).

Sorry for ranting on, that’s me, please get in touch so I can sort where this CADAC can go……

Dave

Hello Dave,

I remember you well from the other place, and welcome to Motorhomer from me too.

I hope your return back to the UK goes smoothly for you.

Thanks to you, sadly, the fishing is no longer so good there, the ice has all gone. - blame whoever trumps the rest, but climate change is real, massive changes and storms, ask the Monmouth High Street residents or the very many that have been killed in similar sudden inundations. So Penquin has had to swim off somewhere into my past and I haven’t seen him recently…..

Great to be here !

Sad to hear that Dave, glad I have my own copy, I still sit and watch it for a while now and then, better than that damnable flea.

If you can find him, box his ears and send him to me and I will talk sternly and persuade him to display again, please….

It’s great to see him jumping again, memories were made from him….
