Camera waterlogged

Well now I’ve changed PAL to NTSC but dohh MH t know how and now can’t get it back and nothings working 😫😫
These are different video formats I think!!!
The up & down buttons seem to work with set up menu but only one move and I don’t seem to be able to get NTSC back to PAL🤔
 
WELL I’m sure you’ll all be pleased to hear you won’t have to read any more drivel on here any more, they’re all sorted. Including auto reverse switching😀😀
Just with a wiggle of one only loosish connection, seemed to be good enough but now taped up to be sure.
What a relief!!!!😀😀
 
Well done, persistence worked.

It might be worth squeezing some silicone sealant around it to make sure it cannot move and it'll keep it dry too once cured.

Silicone sealant? No! Use butyl sealant instead.
 
I do say so. I bought a big roll of it in 1991 (or maybe 1992) and am still using it today. Good as new. The oldest bit I have still installed and exposed to UV is from 2011 and it's fine.
Much later, I needed some grey coloured (not white) so I bought a small, cheap roll. Big mistake!

It soon turned into a crumbly, granular mess. That went into the bin and I re-sealed with white.
