Camping and Caravan Club

Excellent.
What kind of quality is it? Pretty decent?

Off-Topic .. I bought a 2kW Fan Heater from 'The Original Factory Shop' to use in my Camper while working on it on the driveway. Pretty quiet, it is small physically and best of all it was only £12, so a bargain buy I reckon. Could be worth getting one or two for standby use for future events?

Yes, it is excellent quality made by Regata, thank you. As for fan heaters we bought one today for a similar price that had a t/stat and frost guard setting.

We really enjoy the C&CC last year going to a few Temporary Holiday Sites (THS) and a few Meets. Often as mentioned earlier you don’t have to book and everyone is very welcoming.

As the phrase goes, nice to 'pay it forward' when possible :)

So now am a member of the 'friendly' club, as I think the C&CC calls itself? (I don't think the snooty Caravan Club would let me on one of their sites in my animal-themed self-build campervan).

if anyone planning to join, the "member recommendation" selection costs no extra and spreads a little love :)

Many, many moons ago I bought a home made camper, and after I had refurbished it I was a very proud and happy bunny, so I phoned the CC, and enquired about membership. They asked for details about my van, of which I very proudly described....their response.....they would arrange for two inspectors to meet me, inspect the van, and see if it was good enough for them to accept. I have never forgiven them for their snobbiness, and they certainly don't come up to my standards...........
