Couple of well placed commas may erase the vision of you wandering around with no short and shirts on !

We left that Campsite this morning, actually enjoyed our night there place grows on you, We drove to Olhao but the squat at Intermarche was stuffed so carried on to Faro to one of our old squats at the theatre and was amazed to see about 30 vans here so we joined the group N37. 02309 W7. 04553 really nice spot near the sea and several little restraunts here too and also Faro Shopping Mal no facilities but all you need here for a few days stop over 22 degrees here too so what is not to like also a small harbour and the Marina,

Canterbury is mimicking the Ghent traffic management system by dividing the city into five zones. Drivers will only be allowed to enter each zone from a ring road, and be banned from driving directly from one zone to another.

Goodness knows how tourists will be clearly informed. It's a shame as I used to enjoy visiting the place.
Their trouble is they do not have a ring road, the A2 goes up one side only and the so called ring road is a traffic jam going from Stuury road to Wincheap. All right through the centre of the city.

We walked to the centre of Faro from our squat today about a kilometre could have got a bus but wanted to browse shops on route, 25 degrees here today phew, Cops drove round the squat today but just drove by, We found a great all you can eat Chinese Japanese buffet restraunt in Faro, wow what a great meal so much choice a real belly buster 25 euros for 2 great value, and excellent food, frequent Planes in and out of Faro Airport today, we can see the planes parked but are about 2 miles from the airport across the SALT Pans so not disturbed by the flight path. This is one of our favourite Squats and so surprised to find it still available to us.

We now Quarteira on the Aire 6 euro night walked to town along the beach, my wife did 9500 steps but has short legs hee hee, lovely walk, sea beautiful had a long paddle in the chilly water lot of vans here but oodles of room, we rode the little free hopper bus back, it is electric and went like a Rocket, it took a long route, went to Villa Mora first then right out to the Aire so a good great free town tour, Faro squat was good police drove round and just waved so all OK there,. I once tried eating the Prickly Pear, delicious but the minute prickles got me, in my lip and tounge, never again, maybe hee hee.

We left Quarteira yesterday and drove to Armacoa de Pera for the old parking on the rough car park at the beach wrong it has finished massive appartmemt blocks there in constructionn now, whoever said that banning Motorhomes would cause ecconic chaos to the area we're well wrong I could not believe the investment there now, there is now an aire at the outskirts of town on a campsite, Grim place far from town and below the main road it looked full however, So we drove on to ALGOZ and are now on a site which is very rustic and lovely 7.50 euro per. night all included lecky extra lovely showers free, we found the site on P 4 N app it is called Rancho Belchior very remote so if using the site be sure to come provided if no other transport, ALGOZ is 5 kms away and we are out in the sticks here fantastic drive here single track metalled road for about 8 klms through Orange and Lemon groves fantastic scent from the Orange Blossom lean out of the van window as you drive and pick an Orange, they have cats dogs chicken and turkys here to watch love it, there is a Cafe here but closed due to Covid and unviable now the English speaking owner told us , she is Dutch, chocks needed as some pitches slope, 25 dgs today heaven.

We left the site at ALGOZ today after 2 restful nights there lovely, we decided to return to Quarteira as 2moro is market day so we are now on the squat next to the Aire which closes to vans tomorrow and becomes the market site so a free night here with about 50 displaced vans from the Aire, we heard about TOMATA beach near Villa Mora so decided to go see it, it is, was a big wild camping area in the good days apparently but we heard folks were being fined 180 Euros for camping there now. We found it OK and what a beautiful beach and cliffs it is and in the 25 degree sun shine today it was glorious, any way there were about 40 vans dotted about so we chatted with a few folks who said they had been there several days no problem, the Police drove round 3 times a day and left them all alone so it seems it is OK to wild there again so we will give it a few days and go there again and spend a couple of nights Wilding?

Picture out of our windscreen across the dunes to the beach tide right out now but will flood all over later.

We wandered Fuzeta Town again this afternoon very interesting place, we went to the Church which was closed, only allowed in there if a Mass is on,? Didn't want to go in anyway as it was the Cemetery we wanted to see as we had read some about it, very colourful place artificial flowers all over, some of the Mauselims had 6 Coffins in them, Grim place but pleasant enough if you are a Mourner we thought. Spent more time on the beach too, lots of families having fun in the sun, we met a man in a bar today, his name is Senior Rais, 12 years ago he fitted a new Radiator to our then Hymer, in the street, about out where we are now parked, he is now 90 and still going strong retired at 82 he said, he remembered fitting our radiator too he said great to see him again.

We left Fuzeta this morning after a good night's stay, and drove to Arroteia about 5 clicks from Fuzeta, it is an old beach squat that we used in the past, you are still able to overnight there but the then cafe is gone we had a wander about refreshing old memories and then drove on to Torre de Aires another popular beach squat that we used to use but unfortunately that is now banned for us, the big old water pump wheel is still there and working, many happy days spent there for us. We then drove on to Pedtas dell Rai another old popular squat, that is still use able bit has been turned into a large car park and pay by the hour Camping Car Friendly the sign says so still use able, from there we drove a couple of Clicks to Santa Luzia and were able to park up on the old area at the entrance to the town, about 10 vans here including 2 Brits it not met them yet, had a walk into town along the prom and had a drink in one of the many bars here so plan a night here before we move off to?? Very hot and sunny here today and the sea is shinning a fabulous blue, so all good,

Another Octopus in the town on a restraunts roof, asked the waiter about it and he said that Santa Lucia land more octopus than anywhere else on the ALGARVE. and 97 % of customers want to eat it that is why they Reveer the Octopus and the town honours it and Santa Lucia is known as Octopus Town?

They are welcome to them in Santa Lucia. I first (and only) ate squid and octopus in a lovely place in the Mediterranean over 50 years ago, and thought it was like chewing on an inner tube. 😳

Later, whilst scuba diving in the Caribbean, I came across a broken away lobster pot full of the little blighters. So being me, and not wanting to pass on a free meal, I took them home and cooked them all. After a few meals I grew fed up with them too. ☹️

I suspect that I only have plebeian taste. 🙂

Me too; I find the taste of patricians much too rich for me ... . A frugal meal works best; two lightly boiled frugals and a piece of toast is fine ...
