jan is struggling a little with her grip strength and we would like to swap the knobs on our internal doors to lever handles the ones we have use a pair of straining bolts to fit the rose and the hole in the door is so huge a normal lever rose does not cover it, is there a specific model type i should be searching for?

If Niges don't fit, is changing the latch to a spring catch an option? Just push or pull the door instead of turning.

although the hole in the door is 50 the spindle is offset & needs 65 width to cover the hole, molly our setter sleeps upside down outside our bedroom door and she would push open the spring catches and of course jan thinks that while we are changing the handles we could swap the horrible ? brass ones for some nice chrome ones, lol
