CB radio

Hi folks, does anyone have any use for some cb radios? I've just been clearing some stuff and found 4 or 5 40 channel ones and a couple of single sideband ones too plus a mag mount and a couple of other aerials

That takes me back, Yellow Jacket was my handle, I had a yellow car and zero imagination, a 1/2 wave antenna in my loft, spent hours some nights, then I got bored with all the stupid kids keying mics etc, I did look at ham radio but too much book learning, so I just junked it all.

I started on 40 channel am, dv27 twig midland rig. Went off it when they legalised FM, funny mode. I passed the 2 amateur tests but couldn't bring myself to talk to the even bigger muppets on 144.
Graduated to ssb 11 metre but packed that in when I got bored with it being too easy with my home made quads and beam antennas.
If I do eventually get to go back up through Norway again I'll get the mobile gear down from the loft.
I tested the magmount on a dustbin lid a few years back. Worked as good as ever.
