Did mine online, easy and quick. Shame about the written ones being completed less, it is great seeing the handwriting. I guess future generations will be less interested in it, but I loved seeing the copperplate script.

No need to guesstimate. You can edit any details before the due date if anything changes. You need to hang on to the long reference they gave you to log in again.
 
I am starting the position of census officer from 23rd March in order to help and assist those who have difficulty filling out a simple form, the information from which will be used for the benefit of all in determining services and benefits for your local area. Questions like gender and religion are relevant in assigning funding in the most efficient manner. You can be assured no one involved in the census will be 'grassing you up' if, for example, you claim single persons community tax benefit but on 21st March your daughter stayed over to assist you. The census takes over a year to correlate so isn't relevant for that. Failure to complete can attract a fine but is a point of last resort, more importantly, failure to complete means that services may not be relevant to you. Think local bus services, why should they be subsidised if, according to the Census, no one is there to use them. Feel free to pm me if you want to extol your views to me.

My ancestors/father abandoned me so why would I want to know about him or his kith or kin, and what services are we talking about

We're talking about hospitals and health services, roads and bypasses, social care, housing...caravan sites!, All government services AND private provision approved by state. Everything that affects YOU, if you aren't on the census you can't complain if your needs aren't provided for.

I dont complain and just get on with life, would not matter here anyway as our lot are to busy in fighting at stormont to give a monkeys fart.

completed mine a few days ago.........dont know about email to confirm they have received it........as i cant get into my e.mails...........ohhh...dont want a huge fine
 
I called and asked for a code due to not living at a fixed address, the took a post code of roughly where I’ll be on the Census and due to it not being a fixed property it only gave me 3 questions.

which country do you live?..... well 2020 was mainly Spain and Italy, I tapped in “Nomad” and it accepted.

filled in the parent’s for them online and it took about 20 minutes.

I just filled ours in. It took about 15 mins.

I put the Mrs down as a lesbian Seikh non-binary non gender identifying Jedi Knight....
