Choosing your route

Our route has chosen us, this time.
Got the medical all clear, this morning.
We'd decided to give France a miss and go from Pompey to North Spain.
No availability for about a fortnight. Sky high prices.
So its Caen , next Sunday ... Then motorways all the way.. Only coming off to lunch and kip, in nearby small towns.
Even with the tolls and mileage, we'll be quids in.
But bored
When we get to Vitoria, we might go off piste..
Some may say its about time that we piste off!

If a toll has to be paid avoid it unless it’s advantageous to use e.g. Dartford Bridge/Tunnel.

Glad you got the all clear, just in case you missed it I got the all clear yesterday, no further treatment needed just checks in 3 months/6 months then regularly afterwards so time to get a life, look forward to meeting you both again

We've recently returned from 2 weeks in Darkest Dorset, travelling from the Midlands. OH is not a lover of the Motorways so did the 360 mile roundtrip on A and B roads. There's not a lot of motorway in Dorset (none?) so travelling around wasn't a problem. I started my route planning by putting into satnav and de-selecting motorways and then refined the route to suit!
