I’d be knackered by the time I’d pushed the van to the top of my road. Let alone all the way to Wully’s gaff.
But thanks for the offer.
Hearing about other’s problems makes me realise that I’m not unique

Once when I took a car to an MOT test, I arrived at the garage where they knew me. He said "You can drive the car on to the ramp and I'll see you in a minute". I drove the car on to the ramp, pressed the brake pedal just before I stopped and a (rusty) steel brake pipe burst.
Guess if it passed? . . . . .
I didn't take this one, It was in running order:
I am looking out onto our drive at the mechanic doing the timing belt, water pump and tensioner replacement on our van, there are bits of plastic and engine parts all over fingers crossed it goes back together ok, otherwise we might be joining you

I took the van to the garage, all checked and found nothing, we're now at Dalwhinnie, safe and sound.
So I don't know what that was all about.
Thanks to our hosts Christine and Wully for putting up with us.
And a special thanks to Wully for all the help he gave me, my hero.

The bend on the axle carrier is about 1”-1.5” so top of wheel leaning in after finding that the part wouldn’t now be arriving for 5-7weeks I have altered the pressures on the bellows normally sit a 3psi one I lowered to 2 and the damaged side put up by to 4 seems to have made it steadier on the road with lee at Dalwhinnie on to Inverness & Helmsdale tomorrow
