Hi. I have almost completed the inside. As you can see it is still in ambulance livery. This seems to be advantageous at the moment as other road users give me priority all the time. This is making it very difficult for me to get the inclination to change it. What do you think ?

I'd be interested to see what DVLA would say if you presented it for change on the V5 to motorcaravan

Because it looks like a ambulance, it has to look to a plod or a witness like a motor caravan and it plainly doesn't, despite the extra bits MoHo bits.

Here's a pdf of the requirements, "the body type will not be changed unless the exterior of the vehicle actually appears to be a motor home." apparently it is illegal NOT to notify them if you have all the requirements

Green and yellow check would be a no I suspect they do change the V5 for ex ambulances, plenty on DIYMotorhome forum.
