As near as possible as Fiona is at an exhibition thingy?
We will be at Blackpool for a few days for susies farewell then head that way for friday

Some members who've frequented the areaa lot might know some wilding spots but there are a few cheaper campsites around the area. It's 20ish mins from Stratford on Avon and Warwick and Leamington are similar. I'm sure I've seen some potential spots fir parking up for a night around that area but it's around 5 years since I've been over there

Have you enquired with the event organiser, Gordon? For example, a couple of times I have attended ESP organised events at Science Centre, Glasgow with the virtual welder, I traveled over after rush hour with MH and park at the centre (with there permission) so no early commute for me on the day.

Worth asking.

There is a pub called the sparrow alongside a premier inn with a massive car park about a mile away, we have stayed there in the past Gordon with no problems.

Living in coventry I would not wild anywhere close to the city.
Pub or camp site if need to be close,

We can stay Sat night in the abbey car park ( organisers have agreed)just called the pub a short drive away and booked in for a meal Fri night park foc as long as register reg number

Sorry Gordon, just spotted this thread.

I have seen mohos at the Bulls Head Brinklow, CV23 0NE.

Nice large car park and helpful staff, reasonable meals.

Less than a mile to Combe Abbey.
