Could I charge my tablet with this?

It's the USBC charger for the Chromebook, tablet is a Samsung Tab A.

Yes the 5v will charge a tablet with a usb cable, i do notice there is a 12v 15v & 20v outlet, Dont use that.

I would assume that it's a smart device and uses the one output socket to output the various voltages according to what the receiving device requires.

You could connect it to a 12v to 5v usb plug unit, why dont you just charge it of a usb plug in the van, thats what i do.

The issue is sockets in the bedroom not the van Trev only have one and it's a bugger to get to and can't put an adapter on it.

You can buy small powerbanks with a usb lead, we have 5 here & with torch built in ,very handy.

Not really a solution Trev, my question is in the OP, regarding the charger, I'm not looking for alternatives, I could charge in another room anyway.

Yes but charge the powerbank during the day and take it into bed at night, you could use it to heat the thermal nickers lol.
