I have made a rough template out of wood and I have a mate who is going to make it in 2” box section and 1/4” plate, all welded up. The swivel point on the end of the arm will have a tube insert to support the bolt that goes through the plate and the arm. The bracket at the other end will bolt to the towplate and also it will be bolted where the tow bracket is fastened to the chassis, to support the swivel end. There will be a fixing pin going through both plates at the tow bracket end to keep it in place while travelling. This pin can be removed allowing the bike and the tow rack to swivel to one side and give access to the back doors. What does everyone think about it?
