Dams and rivers in Portugal ...

I shudder to think about conditions at the mouth of the Gardiana.. All that water coursing down..
It's not going to be pleasant for those who have to use the ferry to get home from work.
Still a wicked hooley in Sâo Brâs, but our north/ south road is like a river.

Just looking at the TV news. The mountainous central regions have towns built in the valleys, where there is flatter land and the main roads can get through..
The dams in the hills are overflowing and the excess water can only go down hill.
Chaos rules.
 
It sounds horrific Paul, I assume you are safe.
Its made me think about our travels and we might change our plans.
