Was very excited to see the Mirrie Dancers over the Moray Firth yesterday. Spent ages trying to take photos - I’d downloaded an extra camera app for my phone as the pictures on that came out black, but with the app I got a fuzzy, grainy attempt (of the two photos attached, no prizes for guessing which was mine
)
So glad that the Aurora was visible from our little stopover at Fraserburgh (www.glenbuchtystopover.co.uk) as we had people booking especially to try to catch them. The stars were beautifully bright too and we saw some shooting stars. Plus we had a gorgeous rainbow, fab sunset, and then a stunning sunrise this morning!
I think having a little piece of headland right on the north facing coast means we get a good show when conditions are right as we’ve seen them three times so far this autumn, but last night was the best so far.
Thankfully some of our guests got much better pics than me.
Did any one else see them and if so where?
