Who was forecasting Biblically apocalyptic winds? The forecast I heard warned of some stronger gusts which is pretty much what happened on my travels in southern England.

Yep we were right in the warning area but it didn't amount to much here really. Twas a bit blowy. That's about it.

I have never heard the Met Office descibe anything as Biblical or apocalyptic. That sounds more like a journalist trying sensationalise a normal March event. Comes in like a lion and leaves like a lamb is what we expect. The low level warning the Met Office issued is just to remind drivers to watch out for gusts on exposed roads and the odd fallen branch.

Are you for real ? It was me being a bit over dramatic with some over enthusiastic wording.

BTW,

i`ve never seen a lion or a lamb come in or out at the start or end of a month apart from the time we went to visit a zoo.
