Diesel bug

After breaking down on the way home from Hereford done a job or two but still not right So yesterday took the fuel pick up out think I have found the problem

I am surprised we don't get more post deisel bug , very common on boats caused by moisture in deisel fuel tanks , a full fuel systems clean usually needed , one way to help avoid it is to fill tank , if vehicle if vehicle is parked up with a low fuel for some time this can cause moisture in fuel that bacteria can grow in I , recon trev will comment soon

Why, does Linux stop it happening?

We had it recently in our spare heating oil tank..it was nearly full has been stood 3 years,so when main house tank was near empty I pumped spare into main..that night boiler failed ended up putting anti microbeial in tank left a few days then water/ crap from the bottom of the tank (50+ litres).flushed pipework fitted a vehicle diesel filter...no problems since

These tanks are coated internally for why I do not know this has been a problem for years

This is one opened up not coated tomorrow if not raining will drop the tank then put some pea gravel in and water and then shake a lot
