Diesel Heater

Morning,

New to the site. I have recently purchased a Motorhome that has a Diesel heater that runs my Heating and Water,which is great for saving on Gas. My question is does anyone know what amount of fuel it uses.

Here’s the data for some Eberspacher heaters. Fuel consumption will of course depend on many factors such as outside temperature, van size, heater model and insulation.

I think that works out at a small spoonful for each warm toe for the evening.

What type of diesel heater is it? You can get heat exchangers that work off a standard diesel air heater that will heat a tank of water in 20 minutes or you can get hydronic type diesel heaters that have water running through them
