We bought a Paul revere kettle,
Stainless steel copper bottom two litre with a whisking lid in 2002, it held enough water for two cups of tea and two hot water bottles when we were camping,
The whistle broke this morning
Help is it still under warranty I can’t live without a whistling kettle

Maybe one of PR's raiders came and stole it in the night!:giggle:

I'm with you... a whistling kettle that doesn't is a sad thing to behold! f you can get the whistle/lid off, try giving it a soak in descaler or 50:50 water/vinegar... just in case the whistling holes are blocked. Otherwise, this clever person has made a study of the subject - complete with the science bit - and come up with a solution for his silent kettle...

Whistle fell apart the plastic part fell down the sink, and it means pulling half the van apart to get at the trap, I’ve asked janet to whistle to me when the kettle boils

I have a spare whistle you can have it, if you want it.
