I have just returned from a couple of day away at one of my favorite sites in Portugal Povoa barragen I was absolutely discussed about the amount of people who use the trees/ bushes as a toilet, there are two perfectly good purpose built w.c blocks on sight albeit requiring a short walk but obviously this requires a certain amount of decency when you consider that there are children and families on site.I am not a prude and will have a pee when out with the dog and away from the site but it really annoys me to see people who obviously have a w.c on board and also on site to just c**p everywhere they feel like.The amount of toilet paper everywhere was ridiculous if this amount of misuse continues the next thing would be the closing down of the site. I am sure they are not alone but we saw a Dutch and a German van occupants as being two of the worst offenders.

Up at the top on the hard standings or below by the water ?

This was particularly bad down towards the water and along the posted walk.

Some folk just dont get much warning so once the tortoise pops his head out,well you know the rest.

I’m afraid it’s the way it is over here unfortunately and I would guess other European countries as well. I have just had some building work done over here in the last 6 months and after having a tidy up at the end and have found all round the land the builders have used the bushes for number 2’s leaving toilet paper and crap everywhere ? Its In our nature not to behave like this and is hard to accept ?

We witnessed this in Germany, an Asian chap pulls up by a flower bed. Walks into the flower bed and you know the rest. Wasn't there a time in Germany when you could be arrested for dropping litter?
