Do I take it ? DEED DONE FLU LEFT / COVID RIGHT Arm Pfizer covid

I have a good friend wo was fit and healthy before going into hospital for an op on a toe (only thing wrong with him). He contracted covid on the 12th day in hospital, he had not had an vaccination as this was the start of the outbreak. Since this he got gradually worse until being put on palliative care. Luckily he is still hanging on but the covid had ruined his life, has to use a walking frame and use oxygen all the time.

Hw wishes he could have gotten a vaccination before he got covid

A while back my doctor cousin described how labs work to produce a positive vaccination.

Many of these new evolving viruses are just that, evolving. If I can use the word old vaccines, these are the foundation to building a new vaccine for whatever new evolving virus strain, Eg Covid. Foundations in place, the science takes over and in layman terms, a new jigsaw 🧩 is formed. Pieces moves around until a good and workable fix is in place to produce a vaccine that will deal with the then pandemic.

Which is why the C19 vaccine was in place in quick fashion, as many of the jigsaw pieces were already in place and working.

In 1973 my brother went for a motorbike ride on Sunday and was dead on Wednesday, from Meningitis. The doctor examined him on Monday when he had a nasty rash and bad headaches. He said "You've either got meningitis or just a bad headache. No one gets Meningitis, here's a prescription for headache pills."
There are only two things for certain in life, death and taxes. Unless your name is Donald Trump of course . . .

Yesterday afternoon, my RSV vaccination for today was cancelled. When I rang for a alternative date they offered a similar time slot about thirty minutes drive away at another Health Centre which I accepted.

If you never hear from me again, the doctor might just have been right. 😳

If you do, then I might have better protection against a serious lung infections for up to two years. Guess which the clever money is on. 👍

The heavy breather phone call this morning at 3am, he definitely needs a RSV jab. Phone goes and it is on B's side, she puts it on speaker, then heavy breathing..........B- hello, who is this...............more heavy breathing.................B, if you don't speak up I am hanging up................then............."I bet you have a bald one and tight"...........B, actually I do but he is sleeping at the moment, can I take a message...............he hung up. :giggle:

Still here. 😄

Looks like I now have better protection against a serious lung infection for up to two years. Whoever would have thought it. 🫢

Reading Bill's article about the doctors history it becomes a little clearer why he acts the way he does.

We both had the flu jab last Monday, we were both ill on Tuesday with cold/ flu symptoms, I am still full of it now, sneezing, sore throat, nose running constantly, it’s floored me.
I didn’t have the Covid jab having had all previously offered boosters, and tested positive for Covid twice,l was very ill recently and in really bad pain with what the hospital said was probably kidney stones, but actually passed several blood clots, which I’ve read about several times recently being a result of the Covid vaccine.
I don’t know if that’s what caused the blood clots or not but it certainly made me question the effects of taking the vaccine blindly.

Wrong sort of blood clots, these were potential stroke inducing clots in the brain and we're very rare! Kidney stones do cause clots as do bladder stones, I don't think anyone takes the vaccines " Blindly". Hope you feel better soon.

I go tomorrow morning for the double jag. I’ll flip a coin before going in, which will decide what arm get what. 🤞

Not for me. I have to consider the risk/benefit equation. Prior to my experience in 2021, I would have at least taken the flu jab. However, I got flu in my left arm and covid in my right three years ago. No problem with covid, but the flu jab wasn't done properly and I almost lost use of my left arm the following day. The agony lasted for a couple of days and I still have a nagging ache. My GP diagnosed SIRVA but can do nothing further for it.

Geeezo, I've never heard of SIRVA, I'll ask to have jabs in each leg!

That SIRVA is interesting, I reckon my daughter must have it. She has had surgery but it hasn't improved much. I'll let her know about it.
