The wire holding my exhaust baffle on my Dometic fridge had corroded so i have just replaced it with some galvanised steel stiff wire and refitted the baffle

Hoping this is going to be ok As I assume the original wire was nothing special

Struggled to get grub screw out of top of exhaust fitting but just manged with a very small ratchet and philips screwdriver bit

Relocating this grub screw after was difficult so i gave up and refixed top of exhaust fitting with a jubilee clip

Any old wire will do, copper, earth wire from 2.5 twin and earth cable worked for me in the past, not sure what it's real purpose is to be honest?

I leave the lazy T bit loose too, never lost one, :D I just squeeze it a tad in the vice so it's a tight fit.

Baffle creates turbulence in exhaust gas at it exits through T piece Supposedly to improve heat transfer to cooling unit I guess it just slows down the hot gasses rising upwards ?

Of course DUH, dimwitted bear today :(:poop::poop::poop:
