I did put a couple of suggestions on Wild Camping in response to your thread. Have you looked at the POIs, Park4night or search for sites (or any other campsite finder)?
Thank you, I'm going through options and am thinking it would be cheaper to go home for the 2 nights, I should have got onto it sooner as at the moment my son is racing at the TT, it kind of dwarfs my activities!

Well I was about to book at Sandford but had a thought that I'd find a place corfe castle way, so have booked in at woodyhyde campsite, an x farm place, 2 fields one has no pets and tother does, no pitches just pull in and grab a place, 50p for a shower £24. For 2 nights, so I will be half way between BB and the New FOREST should be interesting

Woodyhyde is a great site, especially if your there when the steam trains are operating as the track runs right past the pitches. Lots of great walks from the site and easy to get the bus to Swanage or Corfe Castle.
A word of caution though, the entrance is through a tunnel that’s 10.5 feet 3.2m high by 9 feet 2.74m wide so not for large Motorhome’s

Yes thank you for that, I did not see it before I booked but saw it afterwards, my van should have no problem.
I am always hearing about how dear sites have become but my searches of late have been very reasonably priced, in fact some seem to be below what I'd expect, I will celebrate my 82nd birthday at woodyhyde with my dog woody, really looking forward to my 2 weeks getaway.
